Lake District Hospital had nine admissions and 76 total E.R./prescriptive services for the week of Tuesday, July 19 – Monday, July 25. There were 12 total outpatients in OB and surgery, and three birth. Not all names of the patients admitted are released for publication.

• Tuesday, July 19 — Deputies responded to 12355 Hwy 395 regarding a domestic disturbance. As a result of the investigation, Desiree Criscuolo was arrested for violation of a stalking order.

• Wednesday, July 20 — Deputies responded to the 900 block of South G Street regarding a welfare check. The investigation revealed living conditions of the house and yard were unreasonable for the safety and welfare of children living at the residence. A call was placed to the DHS hotline for a home visit. Investigation is ongoing.

• Wednesday, July 20 — Deputies responded to a theft of a stolen floor jack. The victim stated someone took his floor jack from his property without his permission. The victim advised there is an owner applied number, initials and phone number engraved in the jack. The floor jack was entered into LEDS as stolen property.

• Thursday, July 21 — Deputies contacted Jay Bower on south 9th regarding a possible vehicle prowl. Bower was arrested after it was determined he had outstanding warrants for his arrest. Bower was booked into the Lake County Jail.

• Friday, July 22 — Deputies responded to an abandoned vehicle near south 9th Street near the railroad tracks. Numerous attempts to contact the owner were unsuccessful. The vehicle was impounded to Deiter’s Towing.

• Friday, July 22 — Deputies responded to a burglary which had occurred earlier in the morning on Water User Lane. The investigation revealed Brandan Arnold and Christopher Hance committed a burglary of a storage container, stealing firearms, cameras, and ammunition. Surveillance of the suspect vehicle led to the observation of a stolen firearm being transferred into a vehicle. The vehicle was contacted and the firearm seized. The subsequent investigation led to the issuance of a search warrant to search a residence at 1040 South G Street. Upon executing the warrant, all remaining stolen property and firearms were located and seized. Brandan Arnold was arrested and booked in the Lake County Jail. Christopher Hance remains at large. An arrest warrant has been issued for Hance.

• Sunday, July 24 — Deputies responded to a property on Dog Lake Lane regarding a report of a release agreement violation. The investigation revealed Andrea Olivas arrived at the property to retrieve some clothing against a release agreement. Olivas was arrested for the violation and booked into the Lake County Jail.

• Wednesday, July 6 — OSP witnessed a traffic violation near the intersection of south Third and south P streets in Lakeview and stopped the vehicle. While OSP was speaking to the the driver, impairment was observed. Driver was asked to perform field sobriety tests and driver was arrested for DUII and cited in lieu of custody. Driver was released to his granddaughter. Driver's vehicle was towed by Hall Towing.

• Thursday, July 7 — The Lake County Sheriff’s Office attempted to stop a vehicle near the intersection of south Third and T streets in Lakeview, when the driver with warrant for his arrest, fled on foot. The passenger, who also had a warrant for her arrest, was found hiding in the grass. Both subjects were lodged at the Lake County Jail on their warrants.

• Friday, July 8 — An out of compliance sex offender was contacted and issued a criminal citation for failing to register within 10 days of his birthday in 2022.

• Sunday, July 10 — The Oregon State Police responded to a single vehicle rollover on Hwy 140 E near milepost 50. The driver displayed multiple signs of impairment and was ultimately arrested for DUII and reckless driving. The driver was transported to SLMC where he provided a blood sample.

• Monday, July 11 — OSP was dispatched by Lake County to a disturbance in the 800 block of north 7th Street. Upon arrival there was a male with a knife in his hand actively trying to break into a residence. The male was taken into custody for menacing. Lake County Sheriff's Office is the primary investigating agency.

• Monday, July 11 — OSP responded to a domestic violence call in Christmas Valley, Oregon within Lake County to assist as backup for a Lake County Deputy. On scene OSP and LCSO located the male and female, interviewed both, and arrested the male. The male was lodged at Lake County Jail.

• Monday, July 11 — OSP responded to a crash on Hwy 395 near milepost 63. A driver was traveling southbound when an animal crossed the road. The driver maneuvered to miss the animal and drove onto the westbound shoulder. The driver overcorrected and slid across the highway to the east side and drove into the hill. Driver was taken by a passerby to the hospital. The vehicle was towed by Hall's Towing.

• Thursday, July 14 — OSP was dispatched to a non-injury motor vehicle crash on Hwy 31 near milepost 113. While en route to the crash Lake County dispatch advised the driver was breathing but not responding to the reporting party. The OSP officer was also advised there were two individuals walking southbound on the highway towards Valley Falls. Upon OSP's arrival the vehicle was facing southbound in the ditch. There was no state or private property damage. This was a non-reportable crash. The driver was displaying signs of having a mental health crisis. EMS personnel evaluated the driver and transported to the hospital. The driver's wife told OSP the driver had been having mental health issues and is a threat to others. The driver had been known to possess firearms. This information was relayed to hospital staff. Hall's Towing recovered the vehicle.

• Thursday, July 14 — OSP stopped a vehicle because the driver was suspended. The driver was suspended and the vehicle had no insurance. The vehicle was towed and the driver was cited. The vehicle was towed by Deiter's Towing.
